I don't really understand the other reviews, this is an ear candy for me, maybe because I'm a sound designer myself, and this is just like... just like...

Sound design porn..

Yeah actually that.

Great job on that! downloaded!

phosphorusprocedure responds:

Different strokes for different folks, I suppose. Glad you dig it, man.

Dude, I really put an exception for your musics, because I look like that kind of guy that plays the ass-licker, but.. I swear, I can't say anything else, your musics are always transporting me into other dimensions, As I told you, I've downloaded your tracks because I sometimes need to listen to it, you've reached a new way to handle beats, I have to ask, how do you master those kind of beats? I am a lot intrested in, even though these times I'm more playing acoustic piano and ambient soundtracks, this kind of music inspires me to do something else!

Great job sports!

phosphorusprocedure responds:

Thanks, dude! I'm been itching to mess with more ambient stuff myself.

As far as the mix and everything else goes, I just compress the shit out of everything, and high pass everything that isn't the kick or snare. Not a fan of automations, although I probably should get into that at some point.

The FerricTDS and TeslaSE plugins were used a lot on this track, to the point of killing my CPU usage. It's how I got that really buzzy static sort of noise in the bass.

Well, I wanted to say anything on it, but I really can't say anything but excellent, I can't compare my piano skills to yours, you are really talented. Great job on this one, and also the others!

By the way, do you use a VST for that piano? I personally use Cinesamples Piano in Blue.

Phonometrologist responds:

Thanks mate. I have several piano libraries that I like to use for different projects, but this one in particular in the first half of the piece is the Kawai from Acousticsamples. I also love the ones from imperfectsamples.com
Not a lot of people know it, but it's great for that raw, authentic piano sound.

Wow, that is an awesome work! This really follows a Final Fantasy VII style, just judging by the drums and the different instruments used, that is a great job!

PivotalTuxedo responds:

Thank you mate. That is actually what I was after while covering this song. To make it sound similar like you would hear in Final Fantasy VII game. :P Sorta have a One Winged Angel feel on it, doesn't it? :P

The sound design on this sound is... amazing, the chords are just... Man, Really, I can't express why I'm diging so much for the song, well for you songs in general, it really uses the effects I wanted to do, the guitar sampling, the Fx used, the LFO, I downloaded it, and made it one of my favorite, this one is IMPRESSINGLY great, adding it to my Ipod, Great job sports!

phosphorusprocedure responds:

Wow, thanks! I don't think there's any LFO going on with any of the instruments, though. Not that I'm aware of. Maybe the Harmor presets have that going on, but I didn't really investigate that. I just thought, well, they sound cool, in they go! Thanks for the review, I appreciate it.

It's funny because, I've made like a bunch of Horror music, and chases, but they are nothing compared to yours! Great Job again!

PivotalTuxedo responds:

Now you're underestimating yourself. I think that your music is AWESOME :D Don't be belittling yourself ;) Thank you though :)

As a Composer myself, I really feel like shit compared to your submissions, They are really dynamic and give that immersion, Great Job sports!

PivotalTuxedo responds:

Oh please. I love your tunes :D You have very unique skill of composing music. ^^ Don't underestimate yourself buddy ^^

We diverge in so many things in term of music composing, but personaly, I am still, so In love with your music right now.

5/5

phosphorusprocedure responds:

I'm glad you dug it! I wasn't completely happy with how it turned out, but I got sick of working on it any further. Thanks for the review!

Great Chords, Great Sound Effect, Great work!

slowfreq responds:

thanks sport

Ugh, I... Really, you're actually making the reviewers a bit stressful, because now, I can't find enough words to describe how wonderful this is!

phosphorusprocedure responds:

Haha, thanks, man!
